Emotions!
Two more days to go! Am I crazy enough to do this? Yes I am, but also I can realize that it's not going to be easy. Who wants to switch with me? I'm not going to trade palces for anything!
I'm ready to experience whatever those 26.2 miles will bring on Sunday morning in our beautiful city of Chicago.
Am I nervous?Oh, yes I am! This is how it works, right? I bet that all those 45,000 people which will run the Chicago Marathon on October 11th 2009 are already nervous and exited at the same time, willing to give their best to achieve their dream.
It is my dream as well, to run the Marathon, but I feel that I cannot go to the starting line without thinking of my family, friends and sponsors who made this possible for me. Without them it would have been much harder.
First of all I'd like to thank my best friends Anita and Sebastian which were always there for me on my training days, on my crazy days, when I was tired or happy or just for listening to never-ending speeches about running. If I get to the finish line it will our achievement, not just my own.
Thank you again guys!
I thank my family which is crazy enough to belive in me; even if they are far away from me I felt like they where here supporting my dream.
I thank my second family, Boeriu family, for all you've done for me; for this site and for your thoughts and concernes. I hope I'm not going to disappoint you!
I thank also all sponsors for helping me to raise money for PAWS, animal shelter, because pets are worth saving!
In the end I'd like to dedicate this Marathon to my brother Darie. Durring the time I was fighting with training schedule, he was fighting for real with his health.
He's still there fighting and hoping for better days. You are my hero and miss you so much.
Thank you all that will think of me Sunday morning October 11th 2009!
Wish me luck!
Diana
